In the latest issue of House Beautiful, photographer Amy Neunsinger shows us how she transformed her house with as she says,”good bones”, into a magnificent compound that combines urban and industrial with provincial and girlie.
This bedroom is best described as just that, girlie. And oh so romantic.
I’ve always been a fan of open kitchen shelves rather than closed cabinets. If it’s nicely organized, everyday glasses, plates and bowls make great decoration.
I think that claw-foot bathtubs often look..too much. But I think it really works here. Maybe it’s because this Sunrise Specialty-tub is more shallow than usual, which makes it look very feminine and less heavy.
This room is just beautiful. I especially love the vintage Saarinen table.
This kitchen is the perfect mix between romantic and industrial. Exposed air ducts, concrete floor and stainless steel mixed with softer accessories.
I am definitely going to “steal” some ideas here. I love the kitchen floor and the coffee table in the living room. The whole ambiance is bright airy and happy.
